Greenhills On Tweed is renowned as the home of one of the towns known treasures, The Tweed Valley Jazz Club. For the past 13 years, Jazz fans have been treated to a perfect dining experience whilst socializing, relaxing and enjoying the accompaniment of some truly amazing gigs.
Musicians and bands like Johnny Nicol, George Golla, Sharny Russell, Bob Barnard, Galapagus Duck, Dr. Clare Hanssen, George Washingmachine, and Caxton St. Jazz Band to name just a few love returning to Greenhills On Tweed due to the ambience and excellent acoustics of this 102 year old building.
Recently 400 primary school students attended an ‘Introduction to Music’ workshop directed by John Hoffman with community spirit run by the Tweed Valley Jazz Club. All profits from the club go to supporting young people to promote the appreciation of jazz.
